WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 21 DECEMBER 2001:

CONTROL GYROSCOPES INSTALLED ONTO ARPS
The GP-B team has installed both flight control gyroscopes on their Attitude Reference Platforms (ARPs). The gyroscopes are currently being aligned on the Platforms. After gyro alignment, the Star Sensors will be installed, and the ARP's will be installed on the Space Vehicle.

SRE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT MEASUREMENTS IN PROGRESS
The SRE team has begun temperature coefficent measurements on one set of foward electronics. The box has been mounted in a vacuum chamber and is connected to a SQUID outside of the chamber. The SRE is thermally cycled while operating the SQUID. Currently data is being colleced. The plan is to collect data this week, review the data next week, and to then determine the next steps immediately after the new year begins.

GSS HV BOARDS DELIVERED
HV boards have been delivered to Stanford to populate the first three boxes. The fourth set of boards is due in within the next few days.
