WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 15 AUGUST 2003:

SUCCESSFULLY PERFORMED CTV TESTING
Space vehicle transponder tests with NASA's Compatibility Test Van (CTV) were successfully performed. MOC/TDRS tests with the CTV are in-work. GMA GSE connections were made (and leak-check verified) in preparation for the Rate of Rise Test next week. A successful investigation was performed on the thruster vacuum leak anomaly. The associated test anomaly report has been closed.

TIMELINE AND CONTINGENCY PROCEDURES MAKE GOOD PROGRESS
All but one of the more than 60 operations procedures needed to implement IOC are now complete. The final procedure (a non-critical calibration procedure) is due by the end of the week. Contingency operations procedures are now more than 60 % complete with several additional contingency procedures in the final stages of sign off.
