WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 10 April 1998:
STANFORD HIGHLIGHT
Robert Brumley, David Hipkins, Chris Gray, and Bruce Clarke
have completed
the commissioning of gyroscope FQH53 with
quartz rotor 95FH5. The
asymptotic spin speed with
Helium 4 was 110 Hz, representing a discrepancy
from
the testing requirement of 125Hz. However, by optimizing
the Science
Mission spin-up process, the T003 requirements
for spin speed will be met.
SPACE VEHICLE HIGHLIGHT
The aft helium plumbing assembly has been installed on
the aft equipment
section structure. This plumbing
installation was critical to ensure
correct wire harness
routing on the structure.
