WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 22 August 1997:
STANFORD HIGHLIGHT
Dr. Mike Taber and his team have started the cold insertion of Probe B into
the Science Mission Dewar (SMD), a key element of the GTU-2
cryogenic
operations. This is the first insertion into the
flight SMD, and serves as
final test of the insertion procedures
for the Science Mission. The
complete insertion operation is
expected to last 2-3 days.

VEHICLE HIGHLIGHT
The Relativity Mission Spacecraft Solar Array Preliminary Design Review
(PDR) was held successfully on 13 August.
