SPACE VEHICLE HIGHLIGHT
The final Probe C Acceptance Data Review (ADR) was successfully held on May 19, 1998. This official transfer of the flight Probe from LMMS to Stanford University culminates more than 10 years of research and development, design, fabrication and testing at Lockheed Martin. This ADR enables integration of the entire science payload to begin at Stanford. After Probe C is mated with the science and experiment and the Science Mission Dewar, the assembled payload will be fitted into the spacecraft and taken through environmental test at Lockheed Martin.
