WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 24 MAY 2002:
TWO FUNCTIONAL PAYLOAD BOX SPCS RUN ON SPACE VEHICLE
The first functional test dry runs for the SRE and GSS boxes were completed on the space vehicle. Both tests were successful. The plan is to update
the SPCs and rerun each in the near future. The telescope end-to-end light test (15.35) was successfully run. This test demonstrated the
ability of the flight telescope electronics to detect light incident on the science telescope using a GSE light source. The vatterfly test (15.32) was
run on the space vehicle. A test anomaly was found and is in-work. The anomaly will likely have no effect on service.
