Acceptance Review on
May 14 for the required four
Science Flight SQUIDS (SM1, SM2, SM4, SM7).

SPACE
VEHICLE HIGHLIGHT
Helium thruster flight unit S/N F002 has successfully
completed all of its
acceptance tests. The Hot/Cold
Characterization
Acceptance Test, which functionally
tested and acquired thruster performance
data at 7
supply pressures and temperatures, was the final test.
The GP-B Helium Thruster Isolation Valve (TIV)
qualification unit assembly is complete. Qualification
testing is beginning, and assembly of eighteen flight
units is underway (16 flight, 2 spares). Photo: Engineer
