SUBATMOSPHERIC PAYLOAD OPERATIONS UNDERWAY
The payload test team has begun subatmospheric operations on the payload. The pumpdown of the dewar began on 5/9/01. Currently, the liquid helium temperature in the main tank is approximately 2.1 K. The main tank is 61% full of liquid. Both of these conditions are fully consistent with our expectations for this phase of the test.
