Testing Einstein's Universe

WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 12 March 1999:

STANFORD HIGHLIGHT
Led by Ken Bower and Jason Gwo, Telescope #3 was successfully bonded to Quartz Block #3 on Wednesday, March 3. The initial evaluation of the bond indicates full success. This represents a very significant achievement on the path to completion of the GP-B flight payload. The next step in the payload integration is the installation of the flight gyroscopes followed by the integration of the SIA into the probe.
