WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 4 FEBRUARY 2000:
STANFORD HIGHLIGHT
We have successfully completed the AC magnetic field attenuation
measurement on the flight dewar. This measurement (along with the
previously reported DC field measurement) confirms that we can use the
existing lead bag as-is. The probe test team has successfully completed
the post Payload Test I, room temperature checkout of Probe C. The final
payload hardware test, the telescope and DPA field of view test, met spec.
The probe has been moved to the class 10 clean room and the first operation
in the thermal repair of the probe, the removal of the cross flange, has
been completed. The team members involved in this work include K. Bower,
P. Ehrensberger, R. Farley, L. Huff, R. Leese, J. Mester, and M. Taber.
