WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 11 December 1998:
STANFORD HIGHLIGHT
Under Dr. John Goebel's direction, cryogenic shake tests were successfully
conducted on a DMA thermal mount. The shake level was 4.2 g rms. Two
shakes of 60 s each along each of the X, Y, and Z axes were conducted.
The
DMA was visually monitored and electrically tested.

SPACE VEHICLE HIGHLIGHT
The TDRSS transponder engineering unit has been successfully interfaced with
the Relativity Mission flight software in the Integrated Test Facility.
The
transponder and its associated RF components were also successfully
fit
checked onto its spacecraft flight equipment pallet. Photo:
