WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 3 DECEMBER 1999:

STANFORD HIGHLIGHT
The test phase of Payload test I is complete. The remaining operations in Payload test I include bringing the dewar and probe to a vertical orientation, disconnecting plumbing lines and electronics boxes, and removing the probe from the dewar. The team members involved in this work include Ken Bower, Rob Brumley, Bruce Clarke, Dave Hipkins, Chris Gray, Russ Leese, Jim Maddocks, Dave Murray, and Mike Taber.
Board level testing has been successfully completed for one of the two aft SRE units. The unit has been assembled and following the upcoming TRR, acceptance testing will begin. Team members involved in this work include Jim Lockhart and Terry McGinnis.

SPACE VEHICLE HIGHLIGHT
Thermal testing of the three window assemblies in Probe B has been completed. One Watt of heat was passed into each assembly, and the temperature change on the outer heat station ring measured. This test gives baseline data for the desired Probe C response after repairs are complete.
