GSS SYSTEM DEMONSTRATES GYRO SPINUP MODE SUSPENSION
The GSS has successfully demonstrated the gyro 660 Hz spinup mode capability. The test was conducted using flight-like hardware coupled to
the gyro simulator. The algorithm used in this test is directly applicable to the flight hardware and gives confidence that the GSS computer will
fully meet the high computation demands of the full gyroscope system.
SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED BATTERY ACCEPTANCE DATA REVIEW
The Gravity Probe B Team successfully completed the Acceptance Data Review of the two Flight Batteries at Eagle-Picher in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
