WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 18 OCTOBER 2002:

SPACE VEHICLE HARDWARE IN PREPARTION FOR THERMAL VACUUM TEST
Work is continuing on the space vehicle in preparation for the upcoming thermal vacuum test. The space vehicle has been transferred to the tilt dolly. The vehicle has been tilted on to its side to allow shipment to the thermal vacuum test facility. Thermal blankets and FOSR installation work continued during the past week.

SPACE VEHICLE TESTING IN PREPARATION FOR THERMAL VACUUM TEST
A confidence run of the GMA 15.10.1 flow test ran flawlessly. The plan is to repeat this test in thermal vacuum test. The team has been performing confidence runs on the vehicle of the thermal vacuum functional test. This test will be used before, during, and after thermal vacuum test to verify system functionality. Additional tests will demonstrate functionality of various flight heaters and support thermal modeling of the vehicle.
