WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 12 JULY 2002:
SIM #4 IN-PROGRESS
Sim #4 is currently in-progress and has been very successful to date. The simulation consists of running the first 5 on-orbit stored program command loads.
These 5 loads correspond to the first two and a half days of the GP-B mission. The deployment sequence completed successfully. The C&DH, SRE, TRE, and
GPS are working well and are fully functional. The GSS was not tested as part of this simulation. The orbit determination team confirmed successful
orbit insertion (based upon simulated GPS data). The solar arrays were deployed, generating adequate power, and the batteries are charging well.
A number of anomalies, including attitude capture, ECU, and mailbox conflicts, have been successfully worked by the entire team. The science team
has been fully engaged in the simulation and has analyzed the level 1 data.

SPACE VEHICLE INTEGRATION AND TEST CONTINUES
Confidence tests of the full functional continued during the past week. The final GSS top hat cables and the underlying guard tank vent
line hardware were installed on the space vehicle.
