Testing Einstein's Universe

WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 8 JUNE 2001:

INSTALLATION OF FLIGHT ELECTRONICS ONTO PAYLOAD IN-PROGRESS
The Artifical Star #3 payload test has been completed and the star has been removed from the payload. A post-calibration test of AS#3 is in-progress to resolve an open payload test issue. Thermal ground hold tests of the GP-B payload have been started to measure the expected heat rate into the main tank during pre-launch operations. These tests should be completed within the next several days. The flight electronics installation has been started to support the upcoming tests of the ECU, SRE, TRE, and GSS.
