WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 18 APRIL 2003:
PREPARATIONS CONTINUE FOR GP-B SPACE VEHICLE THERMAL VACUUM TEST
Preparations continued on the space vehicle for the upcoming thermal vacuum test. The test team is currently installing the final plumbing to
support the thermal vacuum test. The test services team is installing lamps and other test GSE. The software team has been performing successful
FQT runs on the vehicle and in the ITF (functional test and others).
NASA HEADQUARTERS GP-B MANAGEMENT REVIEW
After a successful GP-B science review, NASA Headquarters, MSFC, Stanford University, and a management review team finished its review cycle of the program.
Participants included R. Howard (HQ), R. Geveden (MSFC), and T. Fraschetti (JPL, Review Team Chair). The review team members included M. Calloway
(LaRC), S. Castles (GSFC), J. Gunn (JPL), K. Hawkins (Hammers Co), M. Lembeck (HQ), M. Lysek (JPL), D. Shick (LaRC/IPAO), F. Volpe (GSFC), and R.
Williamson (Austin Sensors). A committee report is in-work.
