WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 4 APRIL 2003:
NASA HEADQUARTERS GP-B SCIENCE REVIEW
NASA Headquarters, MSFC, Stanford University, and a review team held a science review of the GP-B mission. Participants included A. Kinney (HQ),
M. Salamon (HQ), M. Turner (Review Team Chair), and F. Everitt (Stanford PI). The review team members included D. Gross, Santa Barbara, James Hartle,
Santa Barbara, John Mather, NASA Goddard, Kip Thorne, Caltech, Rainer Weiss, MIT,
and Clifford Will, Washington University, St. Louis. A committee report is in-work.
SPACECRAFT ADR COMPLETE
The spacecraft acceptance data review was held during the past week. Action items are in-work.
SPACE VEHICLE PREPARATIONS WELL UNDERWAY FOR THERMAL VACUUM TEST
Preparations continue for the upcoming thermal vacuum test. Dewar GSE was prepared for the test. ACE and PDU testing continued to be completely
successful. An ATC E14 test was successfully completed.
