WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 5 March 1999:
STANFORD
HIGHLIGHT
GP-B held its fifth System Level Validation Review (SLVR).
The meeting went very
well with only 4 new action items.
The GSS group under the leadership of Dr. Bill Bencze and Dr. David Manner held a successful peer review for three its most complex boards.
The GPS group lead by Dr. Awele Ndili held a Test Readiness Review (TRR). Once the action items from this review are addressed, testing of the flight box will begin.

SPACE VEHICLE HIGHLIGHT
The Relativity Mission (GP-B) flight computer (CCCA) is
in house and
will be testing in the Integrated Test
Facility (ITF) next week. It is
planned to install it on
the spacecraft in the following weeks. At that
point, the
major command and data handling hardware is available to
start subsystem testing which is an important milestone in
preparation
for payload integration.
