WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING 14 JANUARY 2000:
STANFORD HIGHLIGHT
We completed all OPS based Probe C tasks and have moved Probe C into the
GP-B class 1000 cleanroom. The most recent probe tasks included finishing
necktube thermal measurements, performing leak checks of the caging and
spin up lines, and moving the probe from the A frame onto the gurney. A
test has been performed on the dewar which shows no measureable change in
the dc magnetic field at the gyroscope locations. Based upon this result
the lead bag will not require replacement, however AC magnetic field
measurements must be performed to confirm this plan. Team members involved
in this work include C. Gray, R. Leese, J. Maddocks, J. Mester, D. Murray,
and M. Taber.
